The 2009 MESTA Conference was held at Grosse Pointe South High School. The conference featured a visit to a Salt Brine plant and to Canada (to collect fossils) on Friday, and featured a number of workshops and lectures on Saturday. The 2010 MESTA Conference was held at Lake Superior State University (in Sault Ste. Marie). The conference featured a Galileoscope workshop and a visit to Canada (to collect rock specimens) on Friday, and featured a number of workshops and lectures on Saturday.
