Our most recent OESTA award winner is Tina Weller (Roosevelt High School, Wyandotte).  Congratulations!

Cranson Field Scholarships (CFS):

These scholarships are awarded to recognize educators new to Earth Science (within the first five years of your service) and help fund up to $1000 of expenses associated with field conference attendance.  The scholarship is named after Rod Cranson, a founding father in MESTA that organized the first summer field conference. The deadline for applying for this scholarship is March 31. Applications are reviewed on a competitive basis. The review committee is comprised of members of MESTA. Persons awarded this scholarship are expected to either present a session at an Earth Science-oriented conference, or submit an article to The Michigan Earth Scientist.  To apply for the Cranson Field Scholarship, please fill out our CFS form.
